نامه در حمایت از فعالان محیط زیست
ما جمعی از شهروندان، کنشگران سیاسی و مدنی، فعالان و کارشناسان محیط زیست ، اساتید دانشگاه، دانش آموزان و دانشجویان از سراسر جهان خواستار آزادی فوری و بی قید و شرط نیلوفر بیانی، سپیده کاشانی، مراد طاهباز، هومن جوکار، سام رجبی، امیرحسین خالقی و طاهر قدیریان، ۷ فعال و کارشناس حوزه محیط زیست در ایران که ششمین سال حبس خود را سپری میکنند هستیم
این ۷ تن از جمله فعالانی اند که طی سال ها فعالیت مداوم، تاثیر چشمگیری بر حفظ گونه های جانوری درخطر ایران_ من جمله یوزپلنگ آسیایی که در بحران انقراض است_ داشته اند.
امروزه بحران جهانی محیط زیست و خطر فزاینده و ویران گر تغییرات اقلیمی چشم ما را بر اهمیت حضور کارشناسانه و بی بدیل این فعالان گشوده است
ما امیدواریم با گسترش حمایت ها از فعالیت های محیط زیستی و کنشگرانی که زندگی و آسودگی خود را در برابر منفعت طلبی دولتها و صاحبان سرمایه به خطر انداخته اند، آینده و سرنوشت نسل بشر و تمام گونه های تحت خطر تا حد ممکن نجات یابد
ما نیک میدانیم نجات زمین در گرو آگاهی و اتحاد تمامی مردمان ساکن آن است. همچنین سخت معتقدیم این حضور مسئولانه ی فعالان محیط زیست است که هر لحظه ما را از امکان وقوع فجایع زیست محیطی و مسئولیت مان در برابر حفظ طبیعت آگاه میکند

International Solidarity for the Release of Environmental Expert Prisoners in Iran
We, a group of citizens, environmentalists, conservation scientists, university professors, students, and political and civil activists from around the world demand for the unconditional and immediate release of Sepideh Kashani, Niloufar Bayani, Houman Jokar, Sam Rahabi, Amirhossein Khaleghi, Taher Ghadirian and Morad Tahbaz, seven environmental experts in Iran who are going through their sixth year of incarceration in Evin prison, Iran.
These seven experts are among distinguished active environmentalists whose consistent work and dedication over many years has had a significant impact on the conservation of Iran’s endangered species and ecosystems including the Asiatic Cheetah which is at critical risk of extinction.
Nowadays, the world environmental crisis and the increasing devastation of climate change have opened our eyes to the importance and necessity of the much needed expertise and endeavours of these environmentalists.
We hope with the increasing support and advocacy of environmental activities and the attempts of environmental scientists and experts who have jeopardised their life and comfort, against the unethical profiteering and opportunism of the governments and owners of capital, the future and destiny of the human race and all the endangered species are salvaged.
We well know that saving the earth relies on the universal unity and consciousness of all its inhabitants.
We also firmly believe that it is the committed and tireless presence and knowledge of environmentalists that each moment keeps us conscious of our responsibilities and the possibilities of environmental catastrophes.
Let us unite and join forces around the world for defending environmentalists!
